Visitor Information

  • Riviera House is located in Vari, on the stunning Athens Riviera, just a short drive south of the city center. This coastal area is known for its relaxed atmosphere, elegant seaside living, and easy access to some of Athens’ best beaches.

    Guests can swim at nearby Varkiza Beach, known for its clear blue waters and lively beachfront cafés, or enjoy the calm coves of Vouliagmeni and Kavouri, perfect for a more tranquil seaside experience. The coastline offers everything from water sports and sailing to scenic walks and sunset dining by the sea.

    The house is ideally positioned for exploring both the beachfront lifestyle of the Riviera and the cultural highlights of Athens, with the city centre and the Acropolis about 30 minutes away by car.

  • Guests fly into Athens International Airport (ATH), which is around 30–45 minutes by car from the villa, depending on traffic.

    From London, there are frequent direct flights to Athens with major airlines throughout the year.
    From the United States, there are no direct flights from Los Angeles (LAX), but convenient one-stop routes are available via London, Paris, Frankfurt, or Athens with carriers such as British Airways, Lufthansa, and Aegean Airlines.

    Once in Athens, there are several ways to reach the Riviera area:

    • Private transfer or taxi – the easiest and most comfortable option, available at the airport 24/7.

    • Car hire – ideal if you plan to explore the coastline or nearby towns; we can arrange delivery directly to the villa.

    • Public transport—the X96 express bus runs regularly between the airport and the coastal suburbs, stopping near Vari and Varkiza. Local bus connections also link the Riviera to central Athens and nearby beaches.

    For your convenience, we can assist with airport transfers, car hire, or local transport arrangements ahead of your stay.
